Eric was raised in Great Falls, Montana where he struck a balance between recreation, scholarship and delinquency. He graduated from The University of Montana with a B.A. in Biology and minor in Wilderness Studies, and, subsequently, a M.Ed. in Science Curriculum and Instruction.
After a variety of field-based work, Eric hired on with The Nature Conservancy as a naturalist and education coordinator based west of Choteau, Montana where he spent eight years.
In 2009, Eric and his wife, Audra, began cultivating a small, diversified farm. Currently, this applied biology project includes raising vegetables, hay, hogs, cattle, chickens and one human boy.
Eric will accompany us on our Rocky Mountain Front Naturalist Trip.
