Danielle works as the Wildlife Stewardship Outreach Specialist and Bear Education Coordinator for Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks. She’ll be a speaker during the Bear Education Workshop, which will help FWP reach outdoor recreationists in Montana’s bear country and beyond. She studied environmental studies and wildlife biology at the University of Montana and has called the Yellowstone Ecosystem home since childhood. Over the years as an education coordinator, naturalist, conservation educator, and park ranger, Danielle has developed a deep interest in and concern for Montana’s people, landscapes and wildlife. She lives in Southwest Montana with her husband and cow dog. When not consumed with all things bears, Danielle enjoys hunting, fishing, foraging, skiing, hiking, and almost any other kind of outdoor adventure.
