Join naturalist Eric Bergman on a hike to Route Creek Pass, a major gateway to the Bob Marshall Wilderness. This out-and-back hike climbs roughly 2000 feet over 7 miles to reach a stunning mountain pass below the double peaks of Old Baldy. If you are looking for a true mountain hike full of rigor, beautiful country, and towering limestone peaks, then this is the day hike for you.
If 13 miles is too long, there are plenty of great views along the way, so going all the way to the pass is optional.
Trip price includes transport to and from the trailhead from Choteau, guiding/naturalist services, any extra equipment needed, a T-shirt or tote, and permit fees.
