Description

Explore the backcountry of Montana with a 5-day/4-night wilderness hiking and yoga adventure. This trip at our  Circus Creek base camp includes gorgeous hikes, delicious food, daily yoga and opportunities for solitude in one of the most scenic and remote places in the Rocky Mountains: the Bob Marshall Wilderness. The combination of wilderness solitude, hiking, and yoga make for a much-needed deep breath away from the chaos of the modern world.

You can choose whether or not you wish to participate in daily yoga as you may wish to focus on hiking. All levels of yoga practitioner are welcome, from beginning to seasoned, so don’t worry about not keeping pace on the mat. Movement will focus on easing into the rhythm of mountain living, and postures will address the needs of the group. Daily yoga practice in camp will include a mix of movement and stillness, while taking time to soak in the scenery and backcountry setting.

After the morning yoga session, you have the option to spend the day hiking, soaking your feet in Birch Creek, or lounging in camp. Day hikes include a stream-side meander and swim in a rock grotto, a mountain meadow wildflower walk, and the opportunity to get above timberline in the shadow of Mt. Patrick Gass.

The daily yoga practice and hiking through stunning wild country are a hard combination to beat. This is the ideal rejuvenating adventure for those seeking wilderness solace and the comforts of a base camp.

Instructor Audra Labert has been practicing yoga for nearly two decades with a strong focus on therapeutic yoga, including breath-work and meditation. Learn more about Audra.
