Description
Enjoy 5 days of early fall hiking on this point-to-point route. It includes a few nights at our backcountry Circus Creek camp and a few night up high in a picturesque alpine basin. Early September is one of our favorite time in the mountains with the crisp nights, cool days, and vibrant colors.
The trip is lead by naturalist and guide Eric Bergman, who offers a knowledge and local expertise that helps build familiarity and intimacy with place and ecological systems. With a casual, unscripted approach, we will discuss flora, fauna, and process, with an inclination toward what happens between living organisms and their environment.
If you are looking for a deeper understanding of place, emersion in fall colors, an off-the-beaten path route, and the expertise of a local naturalist, then this is the trip for you.

TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits are required at booking and are non-refundable. Trip balances are due by May 15 for summer trips and August 1 for fall trips unless otherwise specified. The balances are non-refundable after these due dates. We only give complete refunds in the event that you do not successfully draw a tag. Other than a non-successful draw, we do not give refunds for any reason. This includes but is not limited to: route changes due to wildfires, smoke, floods, trail conditions, a non-harvest hunt, or unprecedented weather events. We do not give refunds if personal health inhibits you from participating on a trip including exposure to an airborne virus or illness. Because of this, we STRONGLY recommend purchasing trip insurance.
